To prepare the solution you need 2 cups of ammonia, two cups of boiling water and generous amount of baking soda. The 1st thing you have to do is pre-heat the oven to 200° (F) and turn it off before you start cleaning. Next, get a suitable safe glass dish, fill it with ammonia and put it on the middle rack. Acquire another container, pour boiling water and place it on the bottom rack. Let it sit all night. The following morning, remove the ammonia and water containers and sanitise the interior of the oven with a hot wet sponge, drizzled with baking soda. Remove the dirt and your oven will be dazzling clean.

” Recipe 2 – The second recipe requires additional effort on your end, but the ingredients can clean tough grime and dirt. Pre-heat the oven to 150° (F), then turn it off and pull your sleeves up. Put a bowl of ammonia on the top rack and a pot of boiling water on the lower rack. Leave it like this all night. On the following morning, remove the water and ammonia containers and let the oven door open for fifteen minutes before you start cleaning. Meanwhile, add 2 teaspoons of dishwashing detergent to the ammonia you just removed from the oven. Add a quart of water, also. Then, grab a suitable sponge, dip it into the cleaning mix and wipe down the softened grease. Even older burnt on spoils have no chance of survival.

Cleaning} the oven racks – The easiest way for cleaning the oven racks is dipping them into a container with hot water or better yet, you can use your bathtub. Add 1/2 a cup of ammonia to the hot water. Let it sit for 30 minutes, and after that scrub, rinse and wipe clean.
