Daimer Industries has announced the launch of a new range of high-powered steam carpet cleaners designed to remove stains faster and more efficiently.

The Advanced Thermal Ionic Sanitization (ATIS) carpet cleaning machines feature certified anti-microbial and anti-bacterial ionic technology that has been proven to remove 99 per cent of germs in laboratory tests, Daimer said.

Among the micro-organisms tested were staph infections (staphylococcus aureus), mould (aspergillus niger), listeria monocytogene, E. coli and salmonella cholerasuis.

The new technology will be included in KleenJet steam cleaners in the Mega 550, Mega 1050, Supreme 3050, Ultra 1550 and Ultra 5050 product lines.

All of these steam cleaners come with pressure levels ranging from 5.2 bars to 8.3 bars and temperatures of up to 165 degrees Celcius.

Matthew Baratta, a spokesperson for Daimer, said: “The new ATIS are designed for sanitising applications found in healthcare and food environments.

“We’re adding the technology across our best steam cleaners for customers in countries requiring 50 Hz power compatibility.”

Daimer recently unveiled its XTreme Power XPC-9250U carpet extractor systems – a line of unheated 50 Hz machines for vehicles, stains and upholstery specifically for non-US markets.
